Pornstar Stacy Valentine has relocated to Florida to become the new Director of Model Recruitment for Penthouse. Stacy has sold her interest in the upstart talent agency Exotic Star Models to her former partners Shelby Stevens and September Dawn. She decided to move to Boca Raton, where the new Penthouse ownership is based, after being approached with an offer that she could not refuse during the AVN Expo in January. I would have been a fool not to take it, she said. It is working out well. I am in charge of recruiting models for all avenues the magazine, video production and the Website. Valentine is also handling some of the companys promotional and publicity needs. She said she would begin traveling to Los Angeles once a month starting in March to supervise photo shoots. The popular former pornstar said that her main avenue for recruitment has been the Website. We have had probably over 2,000 submissions and we really have not done much advertising, she said. Girls are submitting photos from all over the world and they register and go to the site, and then we review their photographs and see what they are interested in. We want to know what they are comfortable with and if they have the look. Not everyone can be a Penthouse Magazine Pet. There are only 12 of those per year. Penthouse is planning talent searches in major cities such as Los Angeles and New York this year. Stacy Valentine said the company is looking for the girl-next-door type, but a naughty girl next door. We want really beautiful women, she continued. We like natural girls, and we like enhanced girls. I have not ruled it out. Penthouse actually has toned down the content of its magazine in the past three months, Stacy Valentine said.
